Responsibilities

  • Maximize project efficiency and profitability
  • Taking ownership of all assigned projects and tasks
  • Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion
  • Assist in developing scopes and parameters for project design and implementation
  • Inform Project Manager promptly of any schedule changes, and work closely to ensure requirements are met
  • Familiarity with processes for engineering change request and engineering change order
  • Leverage existing automation wherever possible, keeping a keen eye open for new opportunities
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation before, during, and after project completion as applicable
  • Provide pre-escalation assistance to the Managed Services team members as needed
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by senior resources or direct manager
  • Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
  • This is a full-time position – Overtime may be required to handle emergencies, heavy workloads, or other issues

Technical Requirements

  • Be a very resourceful self-starter able to exercise independent judgment and act upon it appropriately
  • Have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, such as active listening and customer care
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with clients, ability to articulate complex information and ascertain client understanding
  • Have confidence in implementing and supporting M365 administration, networking protocols, server administration, and modern desktop deployment tactics
  • Demonstrate strong soft skills due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with other engineering teams, customers, and vendors

Skills Requirements

  • Excellent people skills and telephone manners.
  • Competency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system and network-related issues on servers, desktops, peripherals, and related equipment. Wide experience with a variety of systems and environments.
  • Ability to concisely describe or summarize a problem, in writing, including steps taken to diagnose and resolve it.
  • Ability to determine best practices and routines for various technical implementations and maintenance. Should be able to put processes in clear documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills and use new types of information.
  • Personal responsibility and reliability.
  • Persistence to see a problem through to its resolution and ability to research possible solutions when encountering resistance.
  • Multitask and move between complicated issues. Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure.
  • Adaptable to a continually changing and growing work environment serving clients to better their business.
